Just a quick thought–Our truest form of worship is a response of thankfulness, awe, and delight after having met with the true, living, unchanging God. Our relationship with God is one of response–He speaks, we listen. He commands, we obey. He firsted loved us, so we love Him. He redeemed our impure hearts, so as our response we live our lives to please Him and give Him glory. Our lives should exude God-inspired responses. Feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit the prisoners. Sound familiar? God, reveal yourself to us in new and unique ways; urge us to respond in humble ways so we can serve people like you did. And, we know we cannot do any of this unless we have met with You. Increase yourself and decrease us, and so, we, as simple, humble friends of the bridegroom (Christ)  can respond by backing away out of the spotlight and give Him the attention He deserves. The attention deserved only by a true, living, and unchanging God.
